This Scottish quartz crystal cluster features four lovely points huddled together on a host rock which seems calcite or dolomite based. It is a lovely creamy colour.

The quartz points have a little yellow limonite staining here and there, adding to the uniqueness of this Scottish rock. One of the crystals has that double point that is interesting. You can also catch a rainbow 🌈 on the side there in the right light.

This Scottish mineral came from the hills in the Southern Uplands, down in Dumfries and Galloway.
